Right conclusion, not the most direct argument. NP is a proper subset of EXPTIME; there are problems that must take exponential time to complete. Wikipedia says that asking whether a Turing-machine halts in k steps is EXPTIME-complete (yo

Seems like it requires too much from the user to be true, particularly stepping back onto the exact square at which the game started. I also find it unlikely that it's interesting enough to play "many, many times". Interesting work of ficti

What is the effect of increased exercise on the burned out? I've started getting 20-30 minutes of additional almost daily exercise by bicycling for transportation, 10-15 minutes and 2.5 miles each way. I wouldn't say that I am a lot happier

The problem with this problem is that it's much easier to attract a significant other with a similarly broken sleep cycle.

I conjecture that the problem is that cutting a $250 netbook to $200 drops the price by 20%, but drops margins by a much greater fraction. For now, it looks like the market will bear $300+ netbooks, so we'll have to wait until more competit

$170 netbook? I haven't been able to find anything reputable-esque on Newegg or Amazon for under $250, so I've been holding out for ARM smartbooks and a price drop.

Hmm, it just occurred to me that my iPod touch battery is not in the greatest shape, so Wakemate might cause me to have to leave a computer on during the night to power the iPod, which seems counterproductive to sleeping well. Might have to

I've wrapped on several occasions by pulling an all-nighter. It just keeps slipping forward to equilibrium. For concreteness, this has resulted in instances where I will awaken at 3 PM one day and 3 AM the next (36 hours later). Staying up

If WakeMate is any good, it will end up being mission-critical for me. I've lost control of my sleep schedule and I can't move it backward because I just end up wasting a day due to tiredness and unable to keep it from slipping forward agai

Unlike the ship dates, that aspect of the product has been very consistent for months, yes. (It's not entirely clear whether you have to keep the app running, but you probably do, and the bracelet is the whole point.)
