I doubt that there's a single full-time employee (in the US) that only costs them 50k/year. Total overhead costs are a lot higher than the employee's salary. I have no idea what the distribution of salaries look like, so this

Not that it changes your argument, but Techshop did actually provide some of those things, dial calipers, gauge blocks, dial test indicators. You just had to check them out, and not everyone know what/where they were. As far as work-

In a number of European countries it's common/required to include a headshot on your CV. Birthdate is also often included. But I agree that, whenever possible, don't include this information.

Unbabel is one that uses machine translation followed by human verification/corrections. I've never used them to get translations, but I have done a little bit of post-editing for them. https://unbabel.com/

If you're referring to this one[1], most people were saying that it's pretty much impossible for an average developer to make 100-300k Euros per year. London seemed to be where it might be possible in certain industries. But Engla

Are there banks that provide credit card-like protections for debit cards? I thought you couldn't reverse debit card transactions. There are usually daily limits, though, which would limit how much you could lose.

Comparing fatalities per 100k people seems like a pretty useless statistic when we're talking about safety standards. If you look at fatalities per 100,000 motor vehicles it's 12.9 compared to 130. So 10x as much. An even bette
