If "a class of" means "a subsection of" (replace "subsection" with whatever word you feel is semantically correct), then your comment is wrong. A substitute command is just that, a command. It is not, and never

Nope. Regex are patterns, that can be compiled in order to extract or replace text. Commands like (s) have been built on top of and using regex. However, you cant just paste some random S command, and say "Hur dur this is regex" ,

I don't know what the hell you are talking about, but my original post stands. The snippet posted contains a regex pattern, but as a whole its a command, not a regex. Substitution is outside the scope of what RegEx is.

Nope. Regular expressions define patterns, which people can then use to extract or transform text.

Seems like an interesting article, but I really distike some of the website choices here. Why is the first sentence, just the title repeated? Why do you have ads for five other articles mixed in with the content? The article is not that lon

From experience, I find the better option is to just move on. You can only shout at a wall for so long, before you realize that you're wasting your time. So you make your concerns heard (which this guy did), and you move on. If people

I wholly disagree with this sentiment. I have seen, time and again, awful language design choices. Granted, they might have been the best option at the time, or maybe no one could think of a better method. But things change with time. And q

You can download or dump your own CDM. I think Spotify uses L3, it's pretty straightforward, once you know how to do it.

With all due respect, this is a quite naive viewpoint. I've been fired from multiple jobs from trying exactly the items you are suggesting. Sometimes, management just wants you to shut up and do the job, and not try to change anything.

In my opinion, Windows Update is essentially malware. Ive been running without updates for years, even since Windows 7. Works fine.

I disabled Windows Updates two years ago, right after I installed Windows 10. Never gonna turn them on. Fuck you Microsoft. Read too many horror stories. Not updating. Dont ask me. https://github.com/WereDev/Wu10Man

I really wish Microsoft would stop wasting time on pointless stuff like this. Windows Terminal was sorely needed, but it's now (and has been for 1-2 years) good enough for daily use, and much better than Console Host. What Microsoft re
