I really wish Php added support for Perl's qq and q operators sometime too (1) It would really make writing scripts a lot easier and cleaner. (1) https://stackoverflow.com/a/41334570/1031454

Yeah one of the bad landing pages. 1) Explains nothing: "something big is happening." 2) Hides the scrollbar 3) Spikes the CPU usage I closed the tab after this but I'm sure there is more :/

One thing that has immensely helped me a lot in the last decade is to cross the bridge when you reach it. May be the most obvious thing to most, but I had this thing where I would sometimes argue or worry about things way into the future, l

This is pretty neat. Clean UI and it does solve a very real problem. I currently pay $6 (for 500 words) on fiverr for doing exactly this and it takes almost 2 days for the delivery. I can see great success for this, especially if marketed t

Which is why I've always stuck to `perl -pi -e`. It may not be as powerful but it's just one thing to learn. Also it understands regexs like '\d', etc which are kinda universal but for some reason don't work with ma

Yes telegram is so much better than WA from a customer's point of view. The best thing I like about it is that it's an instant setup on every phone and doesn't require the Google backup integration which can take an hour to r

I too felt this a lot before and one thing that has tremendously helped me is not eating lunch in the afternoon. I only eat when I'm extremely hungry during the day time and that too just enough (like 1/3 full). I dunno but this k

I would wish there was something better for SMTP. I tried to learn it a while ago and got super frustrated with how things are. The whole thing looked upside-down to me. I mean The DKIM, SPF, DMARC, Bayesian filtering, etc sound like band-a

And I used to get so much work done instead of driving. Your time is precious and it's often better spent doing more important things than paying full attention to the road.

Also what is the granularity? Right now on AWS you have to pay for the full hour even if you use it for 5 minutes. A per minute granularity can make Google's offering more enticing for a lot of users.

Wow never knew cloudflare did this. Now if they only started offering a way to forward emails to a URL that would be truly amazing. Right now I have to use Amazon SES + SNS for this but seeing how cloudflare already has workers, this would

This broken link building thing has kind of gotten out of hand though. I run a popular website and I had to create a very complicated filter just to keep those hundreds of emails I get about some 10 year old link or look Google changed Adwo

Yes it's unbelievable that gmail would send an email to spam when it's from a person with whom i have had prior correspondence with. Clearly shows they give more weight to things like scanning, IP reputation, etc vs common sense.

I would prefer if it was like 3 or 5 post a month. Since that way you're never at the end of your line and it would still avoid a lot of the noise which I think this site hopes to achieve.
