I would ONLY be willing to use this if it returned better data than Twilio's CNAM lookups (costs $0.01) for a cheaper overall price. So far, I've tested my number, and a few others, that I know have CNAM data that this service only provides

I agree. While I think its great that key members in the python community are making sure key projects work together, I can't say that this will affect how I do things day to day in the short term. In the longer term, I'm sure this interope

I agree with what you're saying...mostly. However, there IS a problem with devices that ONLY meet the requirements in buggy ways due to manufacturer alterations/additions. Its silly to ignore this problem and claim it doesn't exist.

I just got off the phone with ATT. I had all the charges (past and current) removed and credited to my account. I also had "Purchase Blocker" added to all 4 lines to prevent this from happening again.

I had no idea that these "services" could automatically add themselves to your wireless bill without an Opt-In. I just checked my family's account and indeed there were 2 different subscriptions on 2 different numbers. Thank you for posting

Freedom and choice cannot be broadly lumped into "ideology". Freedom and choice are integral parts of how markets function. To completely remove freedom and choice from the healthcare debate means that there should be ONE BEST solution. The

Great article! I just don't agree with the author's confidence in the "guiding hand of the government" in his conclusion. I would much rather have the freedom to purchase future options to buy healthcare rather than have my freedoms removed

You can use WebSQL if its running on iOS or Android. You can also use Sencha's LocalStorageProxy but you might run into performance issues with that many records. If you run on PhoneGap, you can keep your existing SQLite database.

One issue with Web Site Payments Pro that might affect some HNers is that Paypal will deny Third Party Payment Aggregation business models almost 100% of the time. Stripe has no issues with TPPA as long as you don't start getting tons of ch

Taxing someone based on their unrealized gains only makes sense if you have liquidity! Instead of making the tax system more complicated with propositions like this, we should just switch to a consumption based tax system.
