The new Zen3 series crushes the top of the line Intel desktop CPUs. I'm on the 3900XT, one of the last from the Zen2 line - it's a ripper, yet I can also just drop in a 5900X or 5950X without having to change the motherboard. Notw

The real kicker for me was Google charging a background preload as a view as such, even though the user may never actually see the ad. Amazing.

And there are some truly incredulously crap ones, possibly costing even less than an additional power supply for the MacBook. That statistic from Apple is just as bad as those.

I wonder how much of that is for gaming. The growth and demand for high end gaming parts has been unprecedented. Ie Nvidia's 3080, just about impossible to buy, chaotic launch, and AMD's 5900x - very hot property now.

Roger that. But even by e.g. Australian standards (which are a lot closer to the US ones), Oslo is far from sedentary; I didn't even think about buying a car in Norway before I left it, being happy to walk/run, ride or PT it every

I would be ashamed to work as an engineer at Facebook today; they empower the proliferation of lies that undermine democracy and our common health, hiding behind the "oh we're just a platform" pretense. Yes, I know free speec

Also, just adding some sugar to this, don't forget that this study was in Norway. Overall health levels would be higher than in, say, USA. I'm talking about weight specifically. Assuming healthy / not overweight would be a ve

I am going to admit that Nvidia Broadcast looks absolutely amazing to me. It's likely to be the reason why my next GPU won't be AMD's new, even though it appears to deliver much more bang for the buck. I already have RTX Voic

A major motivation why I got a StreamDeck was to be able to put a big fat mute button that "physically" kills the microhone level at the source. It renders a big cross through the microphone when muted. Simple, yet insanely effect

Looks like it's a big no, same for VR features as well as far as I can see. That takes AMD out of contention for me (iRacing is the only thing I play, just about), but thankfully it is applying significant price and feature pressures t

Agree; in the home office I have some ATH-ADG1Xs which are open and they're very light and super comfortable. I also use ATH-MSR7NCs - closed - in the home office for very light noise reduction (desktop PC fans) and better music.
