Since the US is currently trying to invade Venezuela under the guise of the fight against drugs trafficking I understand Venezuelans being more strict with their borders and would not diacard it being a setup.

TLDR; just check the charts. Persons without a college degree die more often of suicide/substance abuse, marry less, are less happy and suffer more chronic pain than those with college degree. Here college degree appears to be a proxy

I doubt wealth is exchanged 1 on 1 so clearly, there is lot of wealth accumulated in assets that change price for example. Or the commons, a limited wealth up for grabs at the expense of everyone else.

Also besides more leg space you get to walk around and go to the cafeteria. And a better view i would say, thought that's debatable, view from the plane is pretty tripy the first few times.
