Interesting. You said Gpt4, but that link shows ChatGpt's avatar as 3.5's. And I'm convinced you were using 4 as I just tried replicating this; with 3.5 it fails and with 4 it succeeds. So apparently it's not currently p

Mozilla deserves to fail. This is absolutely unacceptable, it makes me irrationally angry. I've been using Firefox since 2004, I'm tired of these tactics. We're now playing whack a mole with their settings with things like ad

I have seen a handful of desktop software apps built in Godot over the years. For example, https://bauxite.itch.io/bitmapflow is an app which I've gotten value out of built in Godot.

Russia wasn't invading Ukraine, until they were. That it isn't happening right now is not a good argument given that other countries are clearly going to invest in this area.

I'm not who you were talking to as a heads up, but as someone who blocks ads, I frankly just don't care. I view ads as a security risk and as psychological warfare. If Google thinks it worthwhile to invest resources and manages to

We are living in a democracy. There is a significant portion of the population that does not want any movement on gun control. I understand most Americans agree that we need some type of background checks and other common sense restrictions

I'd rather not have my life shortened, or have to live with weird sicknesses, or have wildlife / ecosystems harmed due to us blacklisting when we could be whitelisting substances. I'm sure some of these chemicals let us do ve

Moreover, if you're working on a desktop app, you don't want to introduce an extra dimension where bugs can be present. I've seen people downplay this, but differences in browser behavior is absolutely a source of potential b

Furthermore, the jobs not impacted will be squeezed by increased competition from displaced workers driving salary down. We are going to face massive social disruption because of AI, there is no escaping this.

I hope so too. Plus, in my experience with using GPT4 to generate code, it's more effective at writing C++ than it is at writing Python. Something about annotating the types helps it with getting things right.
