Your site's readability would be greatly improved if you darkened the text color. #444 or darker is good enough for a white background.

There are tradeoffs to both. Server-side will always have a seat at the table. Ex - populating a simple key-value select statement will always perform better using server-side.

I agree with you, what did the author think was going to come out of a Startup/hacking weekend? You are basically giving away your talents at those events. One has to manage expectations better, and also avoid the Billys of the world

Work force disruption is an unfortunate side effect of technological disruption. If your solution is NOT to embrace change because you don't want to see disruption take place then that's not a long-term solution. Edit: I'd

Every top-level comment so far has started about by saying that this is exciting and awesome. The rest of the comments are full of accolades. That is drinking kool-aid. And it's okay to do that. Now let's get back to our hack

I can't get behind the article's idea that Angular is built by people who are non-front-enders for non-front-enders. It's a bold statement that hasn't been supported. I'm an avid user of Angular and as far as perfo

My theory is that gender inequality (less women than men, or vice versa) will cause the minority gender to have less of a say. It seems supported by the article's last example: "Professor Burris and his colleagues studied a credit

I disagree with this post. Churn is the byproduct of evolution. Libraries will slowly die and fade away but we learn with each misstep. Sure, there is a lot of redundancy in the work but each different library/framework/plugin&

And cashing out your 401k while holding a Top Secret clearance sounds like a major red flag. If he did cash it out, I wonder if he stuck around to pay the tax penalties for doing so?

I showed this to my wife and she didn't get it right away. I explained it to her then she said 'Does this mean I need to go?' because we were gchat'ing and I was working at the time (aka waiting for Eclipse to respond).

No it's not clear but it was helpful. There is an implication that a simple imgur link could be a mirror of the comic image. But then you would have to know that the content of the article was a comic image.

I draw the line on what a real error - 4xx doesn't seem to fit the bill. If you want information then a 2xx code and/or a JSON body would be ideal (for me). I think this is the crux of the debate is where do you draw the line?

Extrovery & Introverts compliment each other extremely well. Imagine if Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak where both introverts.... or if they were both extroverts. That tandem would have never played out as well.
