Erg, the idea of Google phoning home information about each page I visit at the browser level is a bit terrifying...

This is awesome! I've been eyeing the ability to use an iPad for a dev device for a while now. As a frontend and react native dev I'm unfortunately still restricted by my need for a good web debugging experience (eg chrome dev too

If you're looking for a more structured version of this, I'd highly recommend checking out vimwiki[1]. Its diary feature does exactly what you mention, plus it will autogenerate a nice index file for you (among many other features

Years ago I wrote a blog post[1] talking about this at a higher level, essentially vetting my frustration about people being addicted to their phones all day rather than living their real lives. Here we are, 4 years later, and while I think

Yeah, having flown quiet a bit in both the EU and the US I can say for sure that the major American airlines (Delta, United, Southwest) are far more comfortable than European budget airlines (Ryanair, EasyJet, etc.) in economy class. They u

Sure, but those kinds of changes happen on the order of thousands of years. The climate change we're talking about preventing is something that, again, will affect us now and even moreso in the coming /decades/ due to anthro

Could you provide a source which backs LA's metro area being denser than NYC's? I've yet to see any sort of metric (certainly not the US Census) that supports that claim.

Foof, this is yet another reason for me to be completely out on smart tvs. I really don't see the appeal of hooking up my tv to the internet if the only thing I'll get in return is buggy service integrations and, worse, the tv spy

I'm also American and have no idea what you're talking about. American culture is very much so divided by class and even race. Were you not watching this latest election cycle?

Young person here! (at least I hope I still count!) My anecdotal data point: the homepage only seemed to have a video explanation, I dropped off right then because I didn't want to watch a 2 minute video about how this works.

Why would we ever do that? Remember that the untaxed price of coal isn't a real price for it. Without a tax the market does not take the externality of its environmental effect into an account. Economically speaking, a high tax on coal

Just want to add my thanks for making this amazing plugin! I've been using it for four years and have always found it to be an invaluable part of my toolset. Great work, please keep up the awesomeness!

I use Harvest for my invoicing needs and it's the same thing. 2.9% is a pretty standard credit card processing fee. You'll find that it's the same price if you tried to do your own payment processing via stripe or paypal.
