Maybe some do actually work, but are they good for you? For example, cinnabar (mercury) really does help with sore throats - almost instant relief. But is it good to take? Almost certainty not! It's a toxic metal.

I don't think it does. It just exposes three (4?) contacts. Less than a USB port. There have been plenty of waterproof phones with jacks.

I think of it like if everyone who read these comments on HN got together we could engineer a very good OS. I doubt we could come close to solving the problem of "stopping Iran nuke production without killing anyone or starting a war&q

Very interesting idea. But I am not sure the Roman's could have skipped 1,000 of slow technological progress. I would say we might have reached mobile phones a little earlier if the Mongels had not laid waste to a lot of the world&#x27

I tried an high up in the center of the house. I just can't get full coverage at AC speeds throughout the house. I think mesh is the only way to go. Thanks for the suggestion!

Anyone know when these certified devices will go on sale. I need a mesh system for home, and would rather a standard than a vendor locked in solution.

I guess he means shorter range AC is not required by client and/or mesh devices.

I have made plenty of friends after the age of 30. The problem is that is is hard work. New friendships consume more time than old friends. The ratio of people actively befriending me, is lower than people I befriend. Maybe 3:1 Making me th

Working for State is a euphemism. It's who certain people claim to be working for when they actually work in intelligence or covert operations. For example overseas embassy CIA staff. In my experience it's quite common and usually

Because optics increase in size with sensor size. The lens for a TV sized camera would be gigantic.

Interesting idea, although consider density. A Micro 4/3 camera sensor used on the popular Panasonic GH5 video camera is tiny but captures 4k video, displayed on screens far far larger. Micro LEDs would need to be far, far smaller to be
