Definitely impact scars at 10 o'clock on the .44 and 7 o'clock on the .38. Hickok45 on Youtube has some great videos of 200+ yard pistol shots, if you're into watching retired schoolteachers with superhuman accuracy.

With you on #2, there's no easy solution. Love to read a comment that disagrees like this. Re: #1, I have to defend half of those blends as normal. E10 is the standard in US, and E15 was given the green light around the time oil prices

My issue with mpge is twofold. 1. The amount of energy in a gallon of fuel is not constant. Where I live you can buy E85 (24kWh/gal) E15 (31kWh) E10 (32kWh) E0 (34kWh) biodiesel (37kWh) or petroleum diesel (38kWh). These numbers shift

From a business standpoint, Tesla sells an order of magnitude more EVs than the closest competitor and makes a ton of profit on each one, whereas most other automakers sell their EVs at a loss. If you happen to be an engineer or just love t

Your specs are wrong all around. Model 3 Long Range is AWD not RWD, range is 358 not 353, priced at $47,990 not $57,990. Most US buyers will get $7500 cash back from the Feds, bringing the price to $40,490. There is no Ioniq 6 available fo

Great shooting--especially with the snubnose--but neither bullet impacted the balloon directly. The .44 hit the plate to the left of the balloon, and the .38 hit low. In both cases, the balloon was popped by fragments of the bullet after it

Doesn't look like right wing madness to me, though I don't tend to view the world through a political lens. "Suggested" tweets seem to be those with unusually high like counts (compared to the poster's usual numbers

Not to be pedantic, but the $10/kg number came from a graphic published by the journal Science, not from Musk. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1571540353978859526 See also this tweet clarifying that fixed

No one at SpaceX has projected $10 per ton. Cost of fuel is about $10,000 per ton to LEO, assuming Starship can lob 100 tons at a time. In a speech to USAF in 2019, Musk said SpaceX's out of pocket cost per launch could be "maybe

840 watts seems high. As a point of reference, the input power connector on Tesla's new HW4 computer is rated for 10A @ 16v, or 160 watts. In fairness to the authors, HW4 was not yet released when this paper was published.

It is a dumb question, but that's the best kind. "could kill you if gone wrong" is nearly every choice in life. The relevant metric is risk of death or other bad outcomes. Flying in a commercial airliner could kill you if t

There are plenty of people who would give their lives to advance civilization for the sake of future generations. The brief pleasure of seeing some amazing wonders is, in comparison, irrelevant. Death is guaranteed either way.

First impression. I like it. But some sources have 3 or 4 headlines and others have dozens. Perhaps the sources with few headlines could be on a row together (or the next source in a column moved up) to eliminate huge chunks of whitespace.

Probably depends on the facility. Tesla recycles 100% of used batteries it receives, presumably by redeploying good cells as stationary storage and recycling the ones that are too far gone. At the Nevada plant in 2020, every 1000kWh of unus

I agree with the author, and would add/modify a few things. If you're successful as a consultant, you'll soon discover economic incentives steering you towards an established business model, which can take some of the thrill
