Great shooting--especially with the snubnose--but neither bullet impacted the balloon directly. The .44 hit the plate to the left of the balloon, and the .38 hit low. In both cases, the balloon was popped by fragments of the bullet after it impacted the steel plate.

- graderjs 4y agoI think the balloon's just there to demonstrate it at a distance. The plate is not much larger than the balloon. The real amazing thing is hitting the plate at 200 yards! And with a snub nose. I mean this guy's a freak! BTW - about your theory, I was thinking this too. But can we be sure? Is that an impact blemish on the left or something else? Was it already there?
- starbase 4y agoDefinitely impact scars at 10 o'clock on the .44 and 7 o'clock on the .38. Hickok45 on Youtube has some great videos of 200+ yard pistol shots, if you're into watching retired schoolteachers with superhuman accuracy.
- graderjs 4y agoHaha! Thanks I will check that out. Yeha, I really am into that. It's like impressively inspiring you can master something incredible and it's super human. Yeah, I agree with you about those impact scars. I watched it again: Definitely is, you can see from the video. Still, impressive, like I said. I mean he's hitting the plate, 50cm apart at 183m, from pistols. It's nuts! :p ;) xx ;p
