I know people will hate this idea, but I would like to see what it would look like if they limited the amount of tweets a free account was allowed to send and even deprioritize those tweets to only show up on to their followers. Seems like

I am not very good at card/deck building games, but I assumed they wanted you to cull your deck when I noticed they make you use gold to do so. After realizing that, I started trying to keep a lean and focused deck. I only play casuall

Yeah, I've read most of Cormac McCarthy's books, but I've never gotten past the first 50 pages of Blood Meridian. Even compared to Child of God, it just hit me in the wrong ways whenever I read it. Still hoping to get to it s

While I still agree on wanting to direct money from military to science, it isn't a one time cost. In 2012, the yearly budget for the LHC was 1 billion [1]. [1]: https://www.forbes.com/sites/alexknapp/2012

I feel like it occupying space in your mind for years, even if only for a few minutes at a time, gives credence to it's value as art.

That's my father since he retired. He does wood working as a hobby, but he will use any excuse to go to the hardware store. I don't know his actual frequency, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is there 4-5 times a week, with

I think most people get them as a deterrent to break ins, not to spy on their neighbors. At least thats why I have one. I had my house robbed a few years back, which was actually horrifying. Insurance covered all the valuables, but the stuf

I got a group of friends to use Signal because of the following: 1. Sharing videos/pictures/memes is terrible in an SMS group chat 2. One person in the group has bad cell service, so we needed something that would send messages ov

I develop Python exclusively on Windows (that then is deployed on Linux) and my experience is identical to the original poster. It's not a perfect system, but it's good enough and I have dealt with dependency management systems.

It doesn't have to be Jeff Bezos. At the start of the pandemic in the US there were plenty of stories of bad actors leveraging their credit to buy up high demands items (toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc) all around their local area an

Yeah, Amazon's ebook buying experience is about as seamless as one could ask for. I do not think the ebook buying experience has anything to do with why paper books are still around.

I had something weird in March. It was a mix of a mild burning feeling in my chest, loss of appetite, and fatigue. I honestly thought it was just anxiety related to the quarantine manifesting in symptoms, and it very well might have been, b

Even systems that try to improve upon the UX and simplify the process, like Entrust, still suffer from this problem. PGP seemed almost like magic when I first used it, but I look forward to it being relegated to the history books.
