My LG G2 (12 months old) shipped with an App called "Browser" and no Chrome. Is this not the app you're talking about? I would guess a great many Android users (if not the majority of Android users) are not using Chrome. In

It'll show up in your Purchases list in the iTunes Store though. You can download it from there. At least I'm pretty sure that's how I got it. IIRC clicking the "Purchased" button actually took you there.

Isn't that only the Motorola phones? But thanks. I didn't know about the Nest integration. I'm not sure I personally find it real compelling... but I know plenty of people that seem to really like Google Now. Different stroke

I have a Nest, and the Nest app on both Android and IOS. I'm not sure what you're getting at with that. Seems the experience is pretty much identical?

tl;dr: The only competition (IMO) is the LG G3, and IOS makes the difference (IMO). I've owned a Nexus One, Samsung Galaxy S2, Moto X and LG G2. Only the G2's camera was decent, but it seems a fairly broad opinion that the iPhone

For me no Android I've owned was a suitable camcorder. A 128GB iPhone 6 Plus is an awesome camcorder, that's always with you, and you can painlessly share your HD videos with your iphone equipped family over iMessage. (Google Plus

That's a weird argument (that I never made). Though I have to wonder about that. IPv4 headers and HTTP headers don't much look the same IME (feel free to hit up Wikipedia if you're unfamiliar). As far as "how nuts your a

I went in thinking there's no way it could interest me. But the payments, the "crown", the haptic feedback, and the gamification of health... I'll probably pick one up.

I had a Moto X. If you're a current iPhone user, and haven't been a dedicated Android user, my advice would be don't. You'll regret it. "Active Notifications" are in all ways inferior to Apple's Notificati

You're less likely to drop a watch (the band), and more likely to scratch it (brushing up against stuff). That's my guess anyways. I thought it was interesting that the "Watch Sport" actually comes with the glass display

That's awful snarky, and misses the point entirely. My gut reaction is that if I, as a civilian, were to ask an FBI agent for details about a case, I'm as likely to receive half-truths and lies by omission as anything at all thoug

My gut reaction to that is skepticism. I've done basic switch configuration, looked at packets, had to troubleshoot MTU and MRU misconfiguration in commercial switches, etc. Conceptually stuff at that layer is a long ways from the actu

What if 80% of kids that come from a family with a net-worth of $10M go on to be "successful", but only 20% of kids that come from a family with a net-worth of $10K do? You've got a huge disparity. And maybe you can "pul
