I had a similar terminal groupon experience: I had meal of really, really bad indian food, at a restaurant I would never have tried otherwise and when I mentioned I was going to use a groupon I was told that my bill now included a 15% non-n

Wait a second- is it seriously that hard to get a meeting with a great VC? Maybe I'm disconnected from reality... but VCs chase deals, and are always interested in meeting ppl. I've never found it difficult to get meeting - is that just me?

It seems to me that you'd be better served by talking to your actual customers than chasing investors, particularly for $4000. Investors will come to you when they see the money/users.

Why is this free? B/c you're not charging for your product, I'm skeptical that you'll be around long enough for it to make sense to learn how to use your product. Remember you're target is businesses, who are much less price sensitive, and

Sounds like indinero. You need to figure out how you define "success" - is it by number of users/money made etc. Then you'll have a clearer idea of what you'd like to target. Throw up a launchrock and see if ppl are interested - I know that

TBH, my real problem was that IOS development (with new sdks) basically requires you to keep upgrading your macos to the latest version, which was irritating since you needed to do it often and since for someone with a hackintosh, its not t

You'd need to get Slow Leopard, since a lot of ios stuff requires you to update your system to make use of new functionality. If you're doing this as a business, do not go the hackintosh route- you won't get any level of stability and it wi

I have a problem with this: I'm extremely curious and I wind up going down long paths to find the ultimate solution to problems, when I could have just asked someone about it. I do it because I learn + remember better, and because the "How"

This is just common sense- most customers wouldn't buy an iBrick (iphone w/o killer apps), and even apple knows it- that's why they focus on killer apps in their ads. Google is smart enough to know that you shouldn't tax your business partn

This is exactly the reason that I haven't bought an iPad 2- I intend to use it for the netflix and kindle apps, and I'm not sure if they're still going to be there in 6 months. For a $500 device, the risk was just too high. I got a kindle i
