It's not real until you're sprinting through the dark basement of an old building trying to find the right door to slip your essay under by the 7am cutoff. But seriously I agree, almost everything is handed in electronically now a

My point is that using this to wrap context around errors is even more verbose than what's available/common today, since you either settle for one wrap for the whole function or you have to define multiple `handle` blocks.

Not quite. You'd need to write new `handle err { ... }` blocks for every new context, like how they have one in the for loop. In effect you're just moving the handling of the error away from the place it occurred, which is not opt

Only seems useful when you have a function and want every error handled the exact same way, and don't have any requirement to add context the way https://github.com/pkg/errors does.

Reminds me of Raymond Hettinger’s talk where he basically goes, “Government regulations may seem weird but they usually have some sort of disaster behind them.”

If making a change to a shared library breaks half the services, should it have been shared in the first place? It still smells odd to me there’s so much interdependence amongst the individual services break at will.

I can't believe this made it out of any planning meetings. Engineer 1: "We'll have one repo per downstream service." Engineer 2: "But we have hundreds of those, so now we have to manage hundreds of github repos???&q

The irony is that Instagram _still is_ thought of as a Facebook replacement. I saw several people in the past few months say something like "Hey fb sucks I'm deleting my profile you can hit me up by text, twitter, instagram, etc..

There are enough articles out there from hardware kickstarters that failed post-funding for me to believe that manufacturing new products on-price and on-time is insanely difficult. I'm sure Apple can design and manufacture 50+ iPhone

God forbid they manage to get their hands on other apps to capture that market... oh wait. People have been predicting the death of facebook for the past decade. It does tend to get old after a while.

As a card-carrying millennial, I've found my friends to be woefully ignorant of how to bank, despite (or because of?) their often well-off upbringings. People often tend to follow the lead of their parents when it comes to banking deci
