A cheap android phone would perform better and for much cheaper.

It's not supposed to, the big value of those is variables and combining rules together in a modular way. You'd define your own gap-1. It's not supposed to be a design system.

Every cellphone without a valid service plan is still required to be able to call 911 in most places of the world, including the US, and carriers eat the costs. It should be obvious why. Frankly it's weird they're making a clone o

It's still the case now for sure on cell networks that are still active that your phone can reach. At least in the US.

Seeing the shadow whip across from the css animation rule when going between waxing and waning gibus is real janky looking.

That's actually kinda sad you lost friends. I feel like that should be a priority?

I like the idea. But when you say "bullet proof" security, there are exploits to break out of VMs that exist. Have you looked into those?

Sure! https://github.com/mackstann/tinywm I've run it once a long time ago and worked perfectly fine for me.

I'm not the most knowledgeable, but a protocol talks to another process through a specific format. I personally think its more powerful than writing a new process to replace and existing. My favorite example is an X11 windows manager i

I've never seen the show so it took a bit to understand, but it's a pretty clever game! It's kind of like Go, but you only have 4 pieces that you can move around the board to build walls between cells to mark territory. Good

That would have been a hilarious timeline if they just upgraded ipods with cell networking, at least for one model. Then you can use this for typing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BnLbv6QYcA

I honestly think that's the way things are going. People are tired of AI generated junk and doom scrolling. I notice a lot of young people have migrated to places like discord or group chats lately. A tight knit circle of friends witho

I'm not sure what TFA or xi means, but any program you install can stay open in the background for quick launching. What makes you think microsoft has exclusive access to doing that?

Oh, I didn't even know fastboot was a thing. That's pretty clever. Does it still need to be disabled if you're dualbooting and not interacting with the windows partition? And yeah, I have a desktop computer. I bet hardware fa

I wish libreoffice was better. I've tried replacing office with it and every time it has the weirdest stuff going on. UI is clunky, importing/exporting office made docs is glitchy, and I've even run into actions that don'

You're not wrong, I don't know anyone that likes all these new features. I wonder if it even matters though. Corporations are always going to use it, and the cheapest laptops will always come with it.

I'm actually not sure why so many people are saying it's slow. For me login screen pops up maybe a few seconds from the bios, then everything is fully loaded after I enter my password.

Just worked through a lot of the puzzles. I love the concept, and I also like how the timer doesn't reset when you switch between them. 3 pieces of feedback: 1. Since your time matters, a start button before a new puzzle is presented w

There's a very funny story behind MinecraftForFree.com which is what most people used back then. Notch (the creator of minecraft) was angry someone was posting his game online for free. He emailed the owner, Dylan, of the site threaten
