Not only does Sig deny that a problem exists, it denies these incidents are happening. I'll never buy another Sig. They've burned bridges IMHO.

Hell no! I seen this movie and I don't want any face-hugger sitting on my desk.

Anybody know who the "Cloudflare customer, a hosting provider" was and what IP they were targeting and why? I'm curious why someone would go to such great lengths to try to take down a service.

TLDR; If you hire employees in blue states, your Texas LLC won't protect you from blue state labor laws.

I came just to find out what a 'toast' is in this context. I'm understanding it's a 'little popup'... is that right?

Mugshots are typically available to the public anyway. I think they traded easier access to mugshots.

In Colorado, I need 4x4 sometimes. Slate is just RWD. I'd love to see a minimalistic 4x4 model like this.

Yeah... that doesn't say anything. "Advanced networking"? Meshtastic can also communicate over long distances by relaying through other nodes. So what's the difference?

I don't understand how this is different from Meshtastic. Can someone compare and contrast?

Interesting idea. Parcellite works better for me though. It's been around forever, captures both 'select' and 'copy' and can paste with a middle click or Ctl-v with or without formatting.

I think you may be right. Anonymity is fundamentally different from privacy though and it's a large error to conflate the two.

"It’s a paradigm shift where we go from having an expectation of privacy even in public spaces to its inverse." What? Who has an expectation of privacy 'even in public spaces'? You're in public with a serialized mo

Which of the three branches does the Smithsonian fall under?

The gold costco sells is serialized. It is traceable and if you report it stolen, if it's found in a pawn shop or the pocket of a thief, you will get it back.

Antigua Guatemala - most beautiful city I've ever visited. I've visited 25 countries. Been to Antigua 4 or 5 times and it's so beautiful with the volcanos and the cobblestone streets. High enough altitude to not get a bunch

RTO is just a cheaper way of reducing the workforce. The 'star' talent will sign contracts that say they can work from home 1-3 days a week and as soon as they make enough seats empty, WFH privileges for the rank and file will co

It's not named after 'us'. All those in America (South, North, Central) are called Americans. I spent several years in Paraguay where I met a lot of South Americans. Mexicans are North Americans and the 'Gulf of America&

We still use them monthly (about 6 a month). I've been shafted by ACH autopay too many times to trust any company with electronic payments anymore. Fallen back to just writing checks for utilities, mortgage, etc.

Dragonflies are freakin' awesome. By far my favorite insect. Not only are they incredible acrobats but they can eat up to a hundred mosquitos (my least favorite insect) per day with a hunting success rate of 95%.

Finally a good use of AI art. Although I never understood tattoos. High cost, painful, and (in some circles) culturally looked down on. I just don't get the motivation.

For real. Very distracting to read this with no upper-case letters at the beginning of sentences. Strangely, many acronyms have properly placed upper-case letters. I don't understand the decision to omit them for single letter words

Knew a contractor that finally received a check from the US DoD 10 years after the invoice was due - 100k+ Don't be the guy that waits that long to get paid. Get a lawyer. Don't be the guy who doesn't pay your bills.
