The bail bond industry (also for-profit) will not welcome it. And my guess is they know how to fight back.

The key here being "service animal". Not pets, not emotional support animal... a service animal that has been trained to help with a particular skill or assistance. Pets and the like are not protected under the ADA.

Ghost... such fond memories. I was like black magic to be able to pull a drive running out of space, ghost it to a new larger drive, while resizing the partition, and stick it back in the server and just boot it up.

Like C.S. Lewis (quoted in this article), I'm homesick for heaven, a place I've never been. Swing low, sweet chariot.

Gusto is good stuff. Happy customer am I. Please, keep your focus and stay good at what you do. Don't wander off into the 'new revenue channel' weeds and lose sight of what's made you great.

DST is so disruptive to my children's life and thus my life. I should move back to Arizona. Curse you DST!

Why do they keep saying 'faster way to pay'... It's always slower for me to pull out the cell phone, unlock it, open Google Pay, choose the card, click/swipe/acknowledge/etc then wait for it to process. I&#x27

Certainly it's about sowing discord... but don't kid yourself, the US does the exact same thing to Russia on any controversial issue there. And don't think the US wasn't bringing its influence to bear during Russian ele

This has been my experience as a client as well. Fell prey to a couple of "say we're doing the work but we ain't" devs that thankfully UpWork refunded so I'm glad to hear they're cracking down on scam accounts.

I'm inspired that engineering students would make something useful for a change and something so impactful to a beautiful little life. Hopefully more higher ed programs will follow this example.

Just because it may be low, does that mean they shouldn't do everything they can to mitigate that to as low as possible? If my loved one was a police officer, I'd want them taking every precaution they could - so they get to come

Even though the gender imbalance is long gone from that war, there's still an attitude among Paraguayan women that there aren't enough men around and they'll have to share. Wife and a mistress or two is pretty common still.

> You're expressing beliefs that others should have their rights taken away. That's unacceptable. Somehow that doesn't apply to liberals when conservatives talk about the right to own and carry a gun. I find the hypocrisy

I don't think we should. I chose node over ruby because of performance. Those numbers are showing significant overhead for promises and async/await. That's a problem I don't want to inject into my latency-sensitive app

Promises and Async/Await are just too slow. I'll stick with Callbacks. https://kyrylkov.com/2017/04/25/native-promises-async-functi...
