I see it as a (potential) storage format. As we move away from triangles and towards ray/path/etc tracing (in whatever forms) we want to still have content (be it captured or crafted) in it, that we can render with things like &qu

I couldn't tell you why, but I have almost never cut myself, and never get nicks, ingrowing hair, razor burn etc with a safety razor. I maybe over-used the other razors (only 15 shaves!?)... and maybe with an exposed blade Im more car

So, your complaint about wasm is that to make it useful we have to bundle it with a browser full of 1000's of APIs. And your solution is... start bundling Other APIs (mouse, keyboard, presumbly touch, a frame buffer) into wasm runtimes

Nitpicking, but for GP; Nerf is the internal representation, but the output doesnt have to be 2D (ray traced basically) There are examples of people outputting SDF (and by extension geometry) with nerf, and projecting original texture onto

Not to mention noise removal fullscreen/2d/postprocessing Or doing all this light pass at a lower resolution and then upscaling it & denoising at the same time

No-JIT only applies to script loaded from outside the app/bundle though, and you said yourself, you're only sending stuff back and forth, are you actually loading (remote) script at runtime (where you won't get JIT, but can s

Any plans for web & webxr playback? Do you have encumbering patents for depth+colour video playback? Why not give away the player to aid/standardise adoption of the format? A lot of people are using this format (including myself [

When moving onto multiple (depth) camera setups, in-painting from old frames worked really well, even before any masking off of static vs moving content (done in realtime, for live streaming)

That's Lingo, not Wordle. Secondly, everyone keeps mentioning (repeating?...) about this famous TV show in the UK; I have never heard of it until december. Reading the gameplay of the show on Wikipedia.... it sounds like an almost enti

Why even bother with the mp4? For audio sync, or just to use <video> tags? On the web i was latency down by just sending nalus, and decoding the h264 with a wasm build of broadway, but now with webcodecs (despite some quirks), thats e

The only thing you need to synchronise is API, no? Which is where version numbers comes in. To me, if youre working with a lot of modules/micro services, lots of modules should be able to sit on old versions and develop independently (

If your "app" is running in java, python, you need to bundle the correct runtime version. (As well as another UI framework, and all dependencies) You're back in bloaty electron land then, no?
