I've never worked with another black engineer and have only worked closely with another black person on a team (PM) over 10 yrs. That being said I wouldn't say the industry sucks, especially compared to other industries. The major

This is interesting since I know of an initiative at FB that aggressively pursued talented AA engineers. The compensation packages they were willing to offer as part of the initiative were impressive even for FAANG. Why put that effort fort

The whole value add of this company vs Ebay is that they are supposed to have "experts" verifying the authenticity of the shoes. I recently read an account where they pretty much hired someone off the street and had him verifying

Not to rationalize the environment there but I feel like Netflix is pretty transparent about being a difficult place to work and compensates for the potential stress with above average pay. I feel like most people who can get hired there ar

Perhaps this explains why Italian Americans don't really look like the Italians I see on Italian television shows? Seems most of them migrated from southern Italy/Sicily.

Interesting, I'm in my mid 30s and removed the dates of graduation when I was looking 3-4 yrs ago. The person I had reviewing my resume said removing the dates was a dead give away and they may assume I'm even older than I am so I
