Damn. I remember all the debates on /a/ (4chan anime board) on what are the best options and presets... for watching anime. Looking back it was kind of silly but we were able to do that because the player was so well built. On Lin

No reason really. It's just easy with a spreadsheet since I write the start and finish date anyway. It's not really useful as all books are different anyway.

Probably a better source of information than the trendy blog posts written by 20 somethings we get here.

What's the point of this comment? It's off topic at best and an excuse to debate about European vs US colleges at worst.

This looks like what I am looking for, but I'm in the other side of the country. Thanks though, will keep it in mind.

OP here. I'm an alum! Fall 1 2016. It's not quite the same thing - RC is self-directed. You do what you want instead of following a course or teacher.

Google Spreadsheet. I have some cells that calculate the total amount of pages read and also the average time it takes me to finish a book.

You just needed a bit more research. With a FB page or Google Maps/Yelp profile, why is a website needed? A vet isn't the kind of business where you need to read info and be sold on it. You just find the nearest good one and go wh

Sure, but this only works for HN because of its reputation. I think OP is asking for new communities. Also, HN is a special case because it's probably cheap and could be funded by any YC member's pocket.

My point was that the tag system is misused even in a small community. Imagine how much it'd be misused in HN.

They don't and shouldn't. Communities can't be monetized outside of ads and I've never seen that work long term. It won't make anyone rich or pay back investors either. At most it'll cover server costs. A commo

I'd welcome tags but they'd have to be heavily moderated. Over at Lobsters people commonly use the wrong tag (in purpose or not), and the site has far less users.

As you might know, most (all?) of SMT/Persona demons are from somewhere. It's actually a pretty cool idea - the creatures may be familiar but Atlus can give them their own spin. You might recognize this guy: http://i.im

Because they are experienced. For a fresh grad, the job market is tough. Very tough in some cases. OP is actually above average by having an actual side project. He just needs help with his resume or application.

I'll never understand HN's love for self help books. I can barely stand to read more than a chapter of them, so my list won't be that useful. I'm halfway through Barbara Tuchman's Bible and Sword - an exploration of

Make websites for your friends or organizations. Find work at your school (low pay, but easy). I got ~$600-700 a month just to do basic jQuery stuff part time. Part time internship (full time in summer) or job like most college students do.

The AR of Pokémon GO is the same as the 3D of the 3DS - it was a big part of the promotional material and hype for it but a year after release everyone has it turned off.
