With a disease that has such uncertainty over its spread, its long term effects, and its recovery, I think it's silly to be certain about what will restore trust and how this will play out. to your suggestion, what is a contact tracing

Not to be conspiratorial, but China has a vested interest in seeming as if they've beaten the virus both to their own people and the world abroad. Their lockdown clearly had a strong effect, but after its over the virus will spread aga

For all the worries about tech monopolies and oligopolies, I am always more worried about the ISP's and their power.

Doesn't this seem similar to other downturns the tech industry has seen? I think it is quite likely that in the next 5 years there's a good chance of a recession and that tech and startups will feel it as they have in other downtu

That the government is a poor spender and over pays is a joke of privatization? please elaborate because it seems to me that it is the joke of government purchasing: gov spends more than it takes in by people who are never in office long en

One thing I love about Spacex is just how more accessible they make space feel. Between the livestreams of launches, the car in space, this, etc. Good on Spacex

I'm often amazed at how competitive these jobs at top companies are to the point where very profitable niche businesses can build up for prep. I guess it really shouldn't be a surprise give the industry of standardized test prep,

+1 to steam for how easy it is to enable mods via steam. modding can be a little daunting to your average user but steam enables communication about a mod (via the comment section which is really helpful for communicating with mod owner), q

What's the operating margin? Of course a new company will have like 0 ads as it tries to capture market share and be cool. Once VC moneys runs out and they need to make money, believe me, you'll see ads.

Sure there is a lot of hype in AI/ML right now, but this post reads like there is an axe to grind with all ML. it ignores true progress made in a lot of areas and denigrates the whole field. to me it did not read like an objective post
