I have no interest in paying one of the large American tech giants for my music. They already control too much, and music is a side business for them.

Exactly. The only reason NATO isn't in Ukraine and kicking the invaders out right now is because Ukraine isn't a NATO member. Meanwhile, NATO has been very clear about defending every inch of their member's territory. That&#x

The idea that NATO's expansion east is what pushed Russia to invade Ukraine is frankly ridiculous. I can see how it's problematic for them, and they did bring it up before the invasion, but that was mainly more lies, the war had a

Wasn't Treble supposed to decouple Android version updates from hardware drivers? It seems as if Google (and other manufacturers, but it's Google's OS) just like to point fingers and blame others to save some money.

The half-life of less than two years is a chicken and egg problem. People buy new phones because their old ones doesn't get updates, and phone manufacturers doesn't update old phones because too few people use them. I don't u

How are car communication done in modern cars? Is there a single cable run from the ECU in the front to the cabin and one to the back, and then some kind of switch connects stuff like gauge cluster, AC, buttons etc in the cabin, and lights,

Ok, so Actix could be considered a good option for a new project? I liked Rocket's syntax, especially the Requests guards [0] I thought seemed like a good idea, but I haven't really looked that close to either since I never starte

Steam hardware survey from December 2021 shows 81.74% Windows 10 64 bit, 10.15% Windows 11 64 bit. I would guess that Windows 11 is overrepresented among Steam users compared to Windows users in general, but that's just a guess. https
