I've heard lots of people who like the smell of coffee, I've never met anyone who's liked the taste of coffee the first time they drank it. There's a reason people put milk and sugar in it.

In BC we've had this for decades, everyone uses it. There's decomposable bags that you can put your compost in, and when you tie them, they take care of most of the odor issue.

Just like the US isn't a capitalist country because they don't have a private military. If all you see is black and white, you'll miss all the good stuff in between.

Modern capitalism has a lot of socialism in it. Socialized fire dept, sewage, roads, police, in most cases socialized healthcare, in the US they socialize bank & auto corporation losses whenever there's a recession, etc etc.

They are though in the Canadian system, a vote in PEI is worth almost 3 times more than in BC for example. PEI: 4 MPs for 176,000 people. = 1 MP per 44000 people BC: 42 MPs for 5.43 million people. = 1 MP per 129,000 people.

This makes sense. Would also make sense why AIDS hasn't evolved to become less deadly, but it also brings up that covid hasn't had a bottleneck in terms of transmission. The main reason why one strain has replaced another has been

What are you basing this on? Looks like deaths peaked in 2004, but more people in Africa are receiving treatment. Without treatment the avg life expectancy seems to be 11 years, and doesn't look like that's changed.
