To my knowlege there is no practical way to automate placement AND routing of a PCB design (so basicaly only the a netlist as input). Yes, there are autorouters, but they work under the assumption that there is already a sensible placement

I don't want to be a nay-sayer but I did my PhD on Hydrogen implantation and spentt enough time as a PostDoc to find a few thing odd here: - All work seems to be purely theoretical although the setup needed is not that hard to come by.
