> ” in most cups in the past, let's say, 20 years, there is an eliminatory game with an equally great or greater goal” What? I honestly can’t remember of a single one. Which goals are you thinking of?

The fact it was during an eliminatory game of World Cup (that Argentina ended up winning) matters a lot to the importance and beauty of this goal. There are not many opportunities in a player life to do such a thing (unlike national leagu

I just opened a Wikipedia article on my phone and I saw 5 background colors: white (main), light gray (background of card), less light gray (background of footer, green (background of banner to show last edit), and light purple (background

I like the update to this from the “Social Dilemma”: ”Your manipulation is the product” . Ad blockers do not protect you from the algorithms that make you more extreme to your side of social or political topic. People are paying and using

First 2 months just www.freeCodeCamp.org, nothing else. Then I started to also do small projects following tutorials and official documentation (mostly in React). That’s it, no courses.

Off-topic comment: I was having some trouble understanding the text. The author would start explaining some advice and I didn’t know which advice he was referring to. Like ”This is one I struggle with the most” , “this” what? I would go ba

Maybe not the example you seek, but I learned programming (web development) from scratch when I was 37yo. I did it online (freeCodeCamp), by myself. 6 to 8 hours a day for about 8 months until I got my first job. Now I am 41, I am still new

I am not a new graduate. I am 41, learned to code when I was 37. I still am in a junior position though, but not first job in tech, nor young.

Not all 250 applications are in the same time frame. I would that the first 4 to 6 weeks I was applying just like you said. Selecting very specific companies and creating higher quality applications. Only when it seemed to be going nowhere

I always use the cover letter spot, never occurred to me that trick. Might be a good idea. Still, the GP argument is that a hiring manager would read the cover letter first. This trick would help with other type of managers

I am on the fence on cover letters. I am pretty sure they are not the most crucial part though. I did write cover letters for most of my applications, a relevant part of them following all the good advice for cover letters, some just copy
