Well, how am I supposed to know if he's genuine, I'm not his psychoanalyst. And I don't think it matters. I don't see how he can change anything - that's the problem.

That is probably one of the most correct stereotypes about Russians. For example almost no one ever saves money here. Nor in the banks, neither under the pillow.

If you listen carefully to this interview and others, you'll only hear he says he's going to fight corruption, but he doesn't say how. Politicians are usually all like this in any country, though. I listen a lot to Obama's speeches and inte

That's a popular point here. Many think they're just grabbing as much as they can while they can. I don't know. Maybe it's true, but it seems to me it would be quite a task to run and hide later. It may be easier to stay and secure the envi

That is to say, eliminating corruption is a dangerous and a difficult task. Someone really smart should be working on it. I can tell by the speeches they're not doing it at all right now.

As a Russian I'm, of course, concerned about it. Almost every intelligent young person under 30s here believes that the system is really broken. However we don't see any changes and I've been puzzled why. Theoretically, even the most egoist

See, the problem is, we don't want to hear that. We want to hear "do it for god's sake" or "stop dreaming, you're a looser". The latter would motivate even more. But not that it's okay. It's not. If it was, I'd be doing something else.

Wow, that's unexpectedly neat. I don't know if there's a market, but I think, probably, it should be there for such a thing.

Worth reading because of this phrase: This is a bit like writing some code, and then not testing it because you really don't want to discover that its buggy.

I don't see any reason for printed books to exist anymore. They're more expensive to produce, they are not environmental friendly and it takes time to go out and buy them or to deliver them. I think it's almost the same as with printed phot

It's an interesting question. Unfortunately it's not always up to us. I found out that I cannot control my ups and downs and that if I could (meaning, that I could have a steady rhythm of work every day) then I would accomplish a lot more.

I have a feeling I am, because I speak english fluently. Although I'm not truly bilingual: I started learning english when I was 4, but it was not the language I spoke, but rather the language I studied. I also don't feel that's such a huge

That's interesting. You should make the sentence about the reason to use this lib bold or put it in the subtitle of the post: As such we’re able to spec out the service contract and data format at the beginning of a project and develop the

I'm glad to hear this happens to someone else, haha. For me the biggest challenge was not to release the product though, but to keep working on it when no one is using it yet. Anyway, I think it's basically the same question of motivation.

It's very disappointing to find the author didn't mention greedy matchers. Consider the difference: >> s = "hello world, I love you world" >> s.sub(/(.*?)world/, '\1universe') => "hello universe, I love you world

If you don't want this to turn into a marketplace for squatters, you should really set some ground rules. For example, you may say that people can't post domain names that they're selling for more than $100. That's just one thing, there are
