If they get rid of licensed stuff it should be ok no? I really want to use this and seems inevitable that we'll need it just as google translate needs all of the books + sites + comments it can get a hold of.

Point is that the average does in fact write code worst than that (including myself). Having this kind of stuff automated in such a way that it is somewhat "looked after by GitHub" will increase the quality of software overall.

Gamedev has got to be the most rewarding type of software coding there is. It’s a type of coding that is much closer to actual artistic creation rather than engineering. The sheer amount of creative & engaging stories, puzzles, real-tim

It's funny because I behave entirely the opposite. I'm as transparent and open as possible. I'm just myself and no way I can live hiding my own personality because of other people's feelings. If the people around me don&

To me this editor gets it right in the sense that we don’t need to get rid of code as the “nocode” movement is trying. Instead we need to make coding more enjoyable and figure out ways to make it more interactive. One specific thing Utopia

It’s because in normal localhost you have to spin up a server in another process that serves your JS. With this there’s no server serving your JS. It’s right there in the browser already. That’s what they mean.

The space of lightning network is quite new and I think not yet totally proven but to simply say it doesn't work is a bit misleading considering the kinds of people that are working on it and the amount of code that has been worked on

This "blockchain" space is getting so complicated that I can't see anymore what it is about. Is it a database? Is it a p2p network? Is it a currency? Most of the "blockchains" listed on aggregators such as coinmarke

One thing that PoW has for it is the idea brought up in the paper: where the coin is not just based on popularity of usage, fame or hype but its usage is actually measurable in a very real sense: through how much energy it consumes. The pap

What!? With cryptocurrencies there’s literally no way to redistribute wealth. How’s that better than the current fiat system where at least we can burn the riches money by printing more and devaluating their portion?
