Being in an environment or situation where that can be a problem is still not preferred. It may not be an overdose, but the outcome of drug use by their friend doesn’t seem positive.

People used to and still do waste much more time watching television. Do you feel that we should’ve regulated watching it as well? Please look to the US drug war to see why throwing people in jail for a problem they have is not the correct

That is a terrible narrative to start passing around. Games are not keeping people poor. An extremely small population relative to total people playing may be addicted and it affects their lives but that should not be a reason to ban a game

This video amazed me when I first saw it. (I hope there’s a better quality one out there) https://youtu.be/JDSf3Kshq1M It’s just amazing how much stronger the hornets are.

Someone had mentioned that there was a limited brand/copyright phase before the $11k phase that was cheaper. Pretty sure they would fall into that. Hopefully someone who knows the details could chime in on that.

What airlines include card miles in your million miles count? Having a million miles is different from the million miles status which seems to be based on the first kind of miles you mentioned.

I believe that is the same audio in the linked article. They said it’s an Ars podcast but it’s After On.

Are the services that ancestry and ‘23 and me’ do provided at a loss and made up with the data or is it profitable? Why aren’t there companies out there doing this at a higher cost without the privacy implications? Just give the user their

Think they meant OTC pain relievers (Advil, Tylenol, etc) which will help with the headaches/body aches. But if they didn’t, don’t use an addictive substance to come off of another addictive substance. You might just transfer that addi

Pretty sure they were comparing it to an i3/i5, not 30+ core servers. I don’t think anyone is making that comparison.

Does anyone really think Apple hasn’t done market research to determine which size phone would be best for them to sell? As mentioned in one of the other comments, SE was using the production lines of the 5/5s. It probably isn’t worth

I am returning in taxes much more than I ever received. It is a net gain for all who benefit from anything paid for by taxes. There are also gains in value being provided to the economy by spending. Also the money I’ve donated. And those ar

You’re entitled to your opinion but maybe try to state it in a less inflammatory way. You seem to have lived a privileged life if you cannot see the value in helping those who cannot afford it. The cost of healthcare in the US prices those

I essentially was doing this on my own when I had a Galaxy. Battery started dying faster so I would leave the battery saver mode on. Apple is good about doing things so the user doesn’t have to think about it. The media just ran with that s

And you’re right. It’s a tax problem that needs to be solved, not a company dodging problem. Either way, a mom and pop store is not going to get anywhere near the same tax rate. Amazon is not paying their share even if they aren’t to blame.

I miss phones that let you dial the letters of the contact name to pull up that contact. Example I always thought was funny was Mom is 666. But with that, it was faster to dial a contact name like that than their number.
