I'm assuming the draw on top is through a specific API right? Why not have a section for (if you do use the feature) justifying why you need draw on top. Then have someone go over the source code to verify that the information voluntee

> people hate writing Go Bit of a blanket statement. I enjoy it much more than the little Node I investigated for work. The lack of functional programming though, yeah. I feel like it might be due to GC optimisations as well, however. Fr

Now I'm curious! What are other systems-level languages? I know Go was touted as one at the start, but that's definitely not where it's established a niche! Julia? Nim? That's about all that comes to mind. I wish I could

I doubt it's the Samsung launcher/ lock screen showing ads though. I remember a particular lock screen I tried out that was great. Functional, beautiful... Except, you know, when it showed an ad on half the lock screen. Yeah, fuck

How much of it is because there's a reason (of sorts), to do a complete re-think, when you're porting tools over? C and C++ have been stable for years, and so has all the little UNIX tooling that was built using them. People are e

With how much I hear about Rust on here, a little surprising to see it behind the likes of Haskell and and Perl! Kotlin is doing really well for its age especially, I'm guessing mostly used by Android devs (so far).

If these are the same engineers that have moved on to writing Python because you can get fairly close to math-y notation, well... Let's just say it can't be a thing.

Sounds like that could easily be a Chrome extension, though? Say, a whitelist for Youtube. In instances where Youtube recommendations fail, they'll just see a black thumbnail/ no text, and won't click it. If they do, can just

Would the more practical version of this not be base level being cars on roads, parkings etc in buildings, and a 'floating' mesh of streets for pedestrians, bicycles etc?

Are you implying little Johnny isn't a real hero? He lived in a military camp in Baghdad for 4 months! He even had a gun pointed at him at one stage! I really don't get America's glorification of combat "veterans."

In TDD you only write code if it makes a red light green, so to speak. First you make the test, then you run it. It will obviously fail, and then you implement code that starts passing tests.
