Same thing on Android. Menu items laid over each other, a page's worth of gap between each item, missing graphics (I think)...

It's more logarithmic, isn't it? Right now we're at the beginning stage, where there's massive discoveries and changes happening, but in say, 50 years time, there won't be much changing year-to-year.

Looks pretty cool, but not sure what they mean by "modern games." Angry Birds modern, or full blown Battlefield on PS4 modern?

Funnily enough, I was just looking at this today, while on the search for a new email client. I have moved to Windows for now, while I have to work with KEIL IDE, so Geary wasn't a option anymore. Currently using Postbox, as I need G

Don't get me wrong, I know 4 languages, which means I keep forgetting words in ones I am not using, and it gets a bit awkward to speak in it after a while. But you know what? I speak in it anyway. How else will I improve my language sk

I'm just imagining this becoming the next big thing in the mechanical keyboard community. They're a bit nuts, but then again, so is just about any bobby's community! 60% typewriters incoming?

But what if the blade runners are also bots, and mistakenly ban humans? Who would you blame? Silly idea altogether. The robots.txt is as close to this as we should go.

It just works, passing tests and all that fancy stuff is out of the project's scope.

What would publish imply? Would putting it on a private Google Drive work? What about a Drive that's searchable and anyone can have a listen, if they so desired?

Huh, didn't know that! So if I record and master a random riff, I technically have a copyright on it? To be fair, I was mostly talking about ones with a record label, where you might be hounded by a label with a lot of legal representa

So you're saying Richard Hendricks' New Internet should be used to keep Soundcloud afloat?

Maybe they're only pulling either indie stuff with no copyright, or the rarer stuff that they're less likely to get in trouble over.

Well, then it might be terrifying for hotels then. I'm not sure what the overall impact of Airbnb will be on the more low-end jobs. Sure you won't need bellboys etc, but cleaners will still be handy. I remember reading about a guy

Are you serious? Lots of people barely watch TV, and this was in ONE time slot. And you're saying you can opt out of calling? Don't you have friends, bosses, colleagues, etc you have to call?

Same thing in India, though I was there a while ago. People seemed to love setting it to the some song from a recent movie. It was about a dollar a month, decent income for the telcos, I'd imagine.

Of course they are not random. I meant that in a tongue in cheek way. How else would a name affect randomness?

I was referring to the police as an extension of the government.

The police look down on speeding, but they are allowed to speed, go through red lights, etc. The law doesn't apply to the ones that make them, apparently.

There was a Kiwi couple who weren't allowed to name their kid Lucifer a few years ago. That name is about as religiously charged too. As a bonus, not being named Mo helps you not get picked for random check-ups.

Probably the religious side more so. Atheists would just laugh at that, most likely. If anything, it'd prove their point. Religious people on the other hand, might be much more interested in defending the sanctity of that title.

I think the font is Comic Relief Regular. I have a hard time taking anything using a Comic Sans-like font seriously, especially when it's something technical. And the blank last page, yeah...

Despite the weirdly worded title, the actual article is pretty fascinating. I'm quite interested in graphics programming, and one of these days I'll have to drop a subject from my SE degree to do a harder graphics subject. One day
