I'll take a look at this link later and possibly look up that book too. I do want to say a few things however that so far it seems every replier seems to be mistaking as a larger whole. These people seem to think that humans aren'

Actually, I understand it quite properly. I was merely just putting into easier to understand terms for others who might need it. I for one, have no doubt that the removal of the internet from most people's lives would reduce most of t

Yeah, we shouldn't discount the algorithms put in place by people; but we should also keep in mind that those algorithms only operate based on inputs from people. If the outputs the algorithms are giving you are not desirable, then it

Not to quote taco girl too overly much; but how about both? Algorithms require input to give you output, right? So even if you are correct that badly created algoritms are to blame, we still have the people who fall for the algorithms outpu

My roommate basically put it in his project for university as a similar theory to Toaster Fucker. I too have a personal similar theory where I just refer to the 'village idiot'. They all basically revolve around one truth I think.

Ironically, they wouldn't need to spend the time re-implementing those componenents and dealing with licenses if they had just made their code open source to begin with. The community would likely gladly help them with anything we can

Fair enough I suppose, but just because I am saying things that disagree with you, doesn't not necessarily mean we are arguing. I am just stating my opinion on the matter, and being resolute about it. Just because you believe it is an

It's not about making it 'free' in the sense of money. The term free often infers money, but in this regards its more about the philosophy of freedom itself, not cost of product. We as consumers should not be held back from

Uri should have never been able to get away with that lawsuit, because the character in question (Kadabra) is clearly a homage to him; not a cameo or direct rip off. Uri Geller is basically in the same camp as Jack Thompson and Uwe Boll bec

I've accepted that the internet wants my data and have been using Brave for a few years now. Seems like a fair compromise, and their adblocking is pretty decent, even if I get to put up with their little pop ups now and then for BAT to

Simple fix is simple then? Remove the La and just use the original surname. I've had to do something similar of sorts in tracking my family tree in the past. Long story short is this: Last names change, but bloodlines don't.
