I get this works for people on certain types of podcasts, but surely with well-produced podcasts (e.g. Heavyweight, Love & Radio, Reply All, S-Town...) the pauses and pacing is a meaningful artistic choice, one that a 2x speed just rush

Note that this is from 2014 though. I'd say it's already quite different based on what I saw during my time there last year. For me what I noticed was pretty demure, neutral colours, relaxed fits, back to focusing more on quality
