A lot of Quake players still prefer CRT for this reason. I remember when I had a 170Hz CRT with 1000Hz USB rate back when it was more difficult to achieve and it was incredible. What mice did you evaluate and decide on?
- Nition 10y ago60Hz on a CRT always looked bad too, it was a last resort. I could really see the flicker at 60Hz on my old Trinitron. 75 was pretty OK but it still looked smoother at 85 which is what I usually had it on. Above that I couldn't visually see any more improvement.
