Hmm, context matter a lot. Im not sure on what you consider large development projects, so maybe its even bigger then what I'm thinking on. But getting the apis between apps up and ready early and getting a working setup from the data

I think a big big reason for that there is no Big tech companies in Europe is really that the landscape is so much more diverse then in the US. If you are big in one state in the US. You have the same lang and most likely the same regulatio

It was a bit hard to understand what is coming and what deprecated. As soon as i went into documentation I was send to "darklang classic". How are the deployless senario now? Where you first serve only yourself then your team, the

I guess darklang was too far ahead in their thinking in some areas and choose the wrong path for other. I really liked the deployless idea, but would have loved in even more on-premise. No way to get the data to stay in Europe. Making hard

Being the best European AI company is also a multi billion business. Its not like China or the US respects GDPR. A lot of companies will choose the best European company.

100% this. The biggest problem I see is understanding the context of what you are building. Even inside a SaaS company. Are you building a feature that is a core part of the service or just a test shot to see if its possible to sell,or may

But the customer installed CS software could do this. So they are partly to blame. I do not think you will find that tesla would allow a third party update to its car. Or a oil rig would allow third party updates to critical parts of its sy

Yes if the site is down you loose reader/buyers (in the end money) But keeping the site up also cost money. So context is really important here. How much money do you spend on the last % of availability vs how much money so you loose

I feel devbox[1] is really good here. And solves the painpoints your addressing. You do not really need to get into the details of nix but get the benefits. But it do not seems to have gotten the love I feel it deserves from the nix communi

Lowering their cost makes Tesla in a position to lower they prices if they want to. Lowering prices because the demand is low is OK if you have better margin then you competitors and as far as I can tell they are making more money per car.

Your right, maybe my formulation was a bit clumsy. I'm not arguing that Tesla is driving the price down for consumers (more then necessary). I agree that they use price to regulate demand. But they want to sell as much as they can. So
