I think the workflow engine is the _best_ part of it, but together with the script editor (online code editor with LSP support) and a drag-n-drop app builder, that is for developers, so you "drop down" to code much of the logic an

Sorry, but I think you are way of here. I live in Norway, and as far as I know the reason for the immigration problems in sweden is mostly related to taking in a lot of immgrants, much more then other countries did (compared to swedens popu

Interesting. How is this in Norway? I assume tesla fights union's there also. The culture and value system where union employers and the government is working together is standing really strong in Norway. Could this spread to the Norwe

A microservice architecture is a good way to solve the problem with the monolith. The problem is the word mikro. It should have a better name. If it was called "boundary architecture" or similar it would make people stop creating

Is that not the biggest problems for software developers? Believing that users come if they have the right product? You need feedback to create the product and you get feedback by having customers - so go out and sell your product (Its pro

I like your vibe. Execution > Idea. It's def true for so many startups that they are really really slow in execution. You need to find developes that execute and not talk about 2 hours in a retrospective about clean code.

Yes. They called a company i worked for, we used a lot of data. They gave us a few weeks to move off (what we needed). Do not think its free for all usage.

100% agree. And the context is not only what you build but also who you are working with. A team with high turnover to it and a founder with 2-3 engineer should prop have diffrent ways of doing things, and there is a lot of business contex

I think you are both right and wrong at the same time. Even in a business context its not sure you want reliable over feature. And I think a lot of developers are focusing way to much on good code. And with that they think a lot on how it c

Maybe before, but i feel that is not a problem anymore. Windmill.dev solves this with easee. Very good UI on top of the workflow engine.

Im not sure how former sysadmins feel about it, but from a dev standpoint, DevOps worked great for us. Making a clean cut on a plattform. Was my app down, I got message/called. If the platform was down it was the Infrastructure team &#

Great to hear. I used to program java in 2010 and inheritance was still beeing heavily used back then. But things change, if both the lang and the main community has change to focus more on simplicity its def worth looking at again. Coro

Sorry, what? Is not java toghether with Ruby maybe the most hardcore OOP enthusiasts that uses inheritance for "most stuff". Has the java culture move so far the last decade ?

Seems like only a editor. Do that host and run your code also? Windmills "Fix error", looks so nice. But you need a tight Integration between the editor / code and the execution platform.

Windmill is such a great product and having the code editor and the execution layer in the same product gives a lot of power. The only similar product i know that has this approche is darklang. Do we as a industry have a good name for this

Just wanted to point out as a alternative datapoint thay i havr both 13: and 25" greyscale. And 25 is a much better experience. 13" is just to small. Im happy with 25" and will buy this new with color. I do not have flicker,

If your access token is compromised, you would normally need your refresh token to get a new access token? So it would increase security, but if you lose your refresh token, you def have the same problem. Or am I missing some context?
