Well said. I've long been a believer in computer literacy. Streamlined UX/UI has made people, especially the younger generation worse at using & troubleshooting computers. It's painfully obvious in the corporate world now

I agree with a lot of the sentiment here about the actual app itself but I'm surprised that people aren't seeing LinkedIn for what it is, a tool. If you're a founder, LinkedIn is a great place to find talent & drive inbou

I doubt its much of a deal. Garrys Mod and Rust have both been wildly successful (which means Valve has made tons of money off them as well) My point is, if I were Valve id let Garry run wild with my engine--no deal needed. Hes proven himse

This is the exact test that I took. I found the results and subsequent treatment based on those results to be highly beneficial to my life & career.

I studied economics and philosophy at a medium sized state school, yet i ended up with the software engineers because of my passion for coding. Degrees are largely just checkboxes unless you're going to MIT, Stanford, etc. With that be

Very fascinating. I saw multiple people predict that these ddos attacks were just advertisement for the Aisuru services. How can regular users of Android, smart TV's, etc. identify these IoT devices that have been compromised?

This is hilarious. The gall these guys have to say things like '...not-too-distant future in which AI models are autonomously running things in the real economy.' It's not even close to doing something a little girl at a lemo

I remember hearing a lot of sentiment mid-2010s about how since he was a successful businessman that he will make good decisions in the White House. America was longing for someone that wasn't 'status quo', so to say. I agree

There's a handful of strange grammatical errors & many short sentences, that gave it a weird vibe for me too. Worth reading, though.

Interesting. I remember a gripe being the performance of LINQ wasn't great even for a webapp years back. I'm assuming its negligible nowadays or did you notice less frames when the LINQ runs?

I only have ever used LINQ in the context of enterprise. What are your thoughts on using it in game dev?

Can you show me how you would write it? I don't see how this contributes to the conversation unless you show me how or why These patterns are commonplace for many years now in many languages. The intention was to show how declarati

My intention wasn’t to promote one-liners as a best practice, but to illustrate how declarative style can evolve from imperative code. In production, I agree that clarity should come first.

What are your thoughts on using a functional language (elixir, haskell) for projects like uv?

Agreed. That's how I would write it in a professional codebase. I added it to show the transformation from separate functions -> LINQ one-liner. Cheers!
