I see your point. I've just craved a rails-like experience in Lua for a while and don't believe there's anything out there yet built on Lua that can match with the big boys (rails, .NET, etc.)

That pricing model is insane and confusing as hell. Your FAQ clears it up slightly but was hard pass from me almost instantly due to the conflicting information in the pricing section.

The market will follow supply and demand at its equilibrium, which clearly we are not at. The question is: what is preventing it from reaching that point?

My gut assumption is that people will default to tribalism, but that has proven to be wrong over the past few years.

That's a fair point. My gut reaction is that people will default to tribalism, but I think this has been a different situation than most others (and going on a lot longer).

Depends a lot on your age and preferences. I don't mind dating women older than me so Facebook Dating has been great for me lol! Definitely pales in comparison to Tinder, etc. if your ideal partner is college age/below 25.

Very true. I've gone on dates with a couple Jewish women over the past two or three years & they've all staunchly supported Palestine which surprised me a bit.

I see what you're saying lol. It is important to specify that the dating profile is different from the social media one, so im not catfishing or anything like that. I am just not sharing personal data with fb on their social media side

It is not marketed at all. It just kind of popped up one day. I've never gone back to tinder, etc since then. It is the best experience to me personally. Maybe people over still 40 use the social media site in large numbers. I just hav

Facebook Dating is clearly being used as a 'loss-leader' against these apps, and it is fantastic for end users and the overall market. For those of you who haven't tried it, it offers far more swipes, generous filtering, and

Blazor and Phoenix both seem the most intuitive for me also, especially when building complex frontends that require a lot of business logic. Being able to ditch the JS for that kind of work is amazing.

Hello, I'm someone who does not have a background in CS, so my apologies for not being able to read the paper in-full. Is there any clear-cut strategy you would recommend to model developers so they can improve in not just correctness,
