Sure, that's what I mean by where to draw the line. An artist taking inspiration from others is not obliged to give up the work to the public. Sidenote: It may be tricky/impossible in the future to uphold intellectual property law

You might argue that since those LLMs build on all of humanity's knowledge, they should belong to everyone. But where do you draw the lines? Or make a practical case.

I agree with you, but there is one aspect that is different here - the scale that is way beyond what any human can do. I don't know what to think about that though.

I'm also baffled. AI that is substantially smarter than us is a very potential threat to us - and we won't even be able to comprehend what most of those threats may be.

I am very product focused with my projects. I have Claude write 100% of the code but I challenge its suggestions and make damn sure there are ways for it to verify functionality and correctness. I don't read much of the generated code

I'm paying for claude max which is 90 euros a month. It's just enough for my needs. I typically run 2 agents in parallel and seldom run out of tokens.

I'm in the same camp. The last few months I've been building a couple of applications (editors) for my own work - and since it's so fast I've had Claude spin off to build Zig tools and libraries for markdown parsing, PDF

I would prefer higher dpi too. If someone would make a hidpi square (ish) screen I would buy it in a heartbeat. The Huawei Mateview looks great but can't swivel to portrait, unfortunately.

I used to run a 16:9 vertically for writing so I got one of these and love it. The only issue is that I needed to install BetterDisplay (former BetterDummy) to get retina scaling from my macbook pro M1 . Dunno why macOS doesn't support
