I used to run a 16:9 vertically for writing so I got one of these and love it. The only issue is that I needed to install BetterDisplay (former BetterDummy) to get retina scaling from my macbook pro M1 . Dunno why macOS doesn't support it natively since it has the same PPI as a 32" 4k screen.
