Oh interesting I'm going to look into a house call vet!

Yes. Pet insurance is an unregulated market and also has to be driving up prices.

Licensing can be used to monopolize markets and consolidate private ownership. Licensing isn't inherently bad but it can be used in a capitalist system to increase profits and drive out competition.

Oh yea I'm sure. Many of the chains I'm not sure what type of company they were. But just the fact that vets aren't a small, locally owned businesses concerns me. I'm sure some of the larger chains are either PE firms or

Hilariously sad to see this, where crypto has gone from an idea of economic freedom to economic handcuffs. Imagine the even more nightmarish world where a person on welfare has their entire economic life controlled by a completely faceless,

I'm sure there are many owners out there that hate the fact physical media is resellable. I'm sure this is at least part of the reason everything is becoming more restricted by copy protection, streamed, proprietary downloads, etc

If the chips didn't exist though would they have actually bought every one of those games? Would they have bought the console? I doubt this is information that could actually be gathered and calculated accurately as damages.

Isn't it also just generally impossible to say if a sale was lost because of piracy? A pirated copy may never have actually been a sale and how would anyone know?

The government owns the debt and can pay itself off. It doesn't need to "give" money to anyone.

by shakes_mcjunkie 4y ago
Surprisingly taxes don't work this way. The federal government can simply write this debt off by paying itself. It doesn't have to literally collect the dollars from tax payers.

Not all loans can be forgiven like federal student loans. So I don't understand how this would become "a common trend"? How much would your individual taxes increase if student loans are forgiven?

The entire government runs off subsidizing various parts of society that it deems important. Is that all corruption?

-How much are people in the trades "paying" for student loans? Taxes don't work like this. -Our society relentlessly holds people "accountable" for all kinds of things in all manner of unfair ways. Legally, economic
