It's not an age thing. People born today aren't going to see the leaps in technology that you saw because we're approaching the physical limits of transistor size.

Have you tried medication? I would start with that. People will say things like exercise or certain routines, etc. but nothing compares to how effective medication can be. Everyone's brain chemistry is a bit different so this is where

I've seen this happen on multiple occasions but of course it won't happen for most people. I suspect that these smaller companies don't really care if copying the industry leaders means they might lose a few of their people t

I've accepted that real world development and interviews are 2 different worlds with little overlap. Like many things in life, best not to think too hard about how things should be and focus on making the best with how things actually

I'm in the same boat. I'm handling it by looking for a new job. You are absolutely damaging your growth potential as a developer. Operations might give you some useful perspectives just like QA might give you some interesting insi

Reminder, our field isn't regulated. Anyone can go online and learn enough to be useful at a high paying entry level job. At some point there has to be a filter and that's what these interviews are for.

Price is okay. As a developer anything that can help with my day to day work is worth investing in. This device could potentially replace the need for high end ergonomic chairs and standing desks.

You can't quantify customer loyalty like you can quantify warranty claims so you can burn the former to improve the latter, maybe even get a promotion for doing so, then move on and let someone else deal with the long term consequences

Doctors literally have their own organizations which actively work to limit the supply of medical school graduates. What would happen if they didn't have that legal protection? Look at Pharmacy; it used to be a great field until they s

* The people who end up winning your Leetcode interview will have the least amount of trouble leaving your company. That's why if you're a small start up, trying to hire like Google is the dumbest thing you can do.

I agree that leetcode easies are good filters. But what if too many people pass those filters? Then we move onto mediums. But what if too many people solve those? And that is how we reached the current state of interviews.

This type of top down learning doesn't work for interviews. Just like how you can't learn math by reading high level summaries written by others. You have to grind through it and see the connections yourself. The author's lac
