Good point on Amiga. It's truly a vibrant community, still. I follow Amiga Bill and Retro Hour etc.

So.. how do we design a Kagi, or a parallel Internet, that is immune to this? There's clearly a market.

I bet the intelligence agencies are keeping track, though. The likes of CIA and Mossad, at the very least.

> I would not describe it as Kagi being indirectly Russian. What do you mean? That Kagi is directly Russian? Paying a russian provider isn't against the law and at some point we need to bring Russia back into the warmth of the West.

That reminds me - my wife had a friend who was killed by a shark (no joke). There were newspaper articles, but Google has completely forgotten about this and the newspapers are often behind a paywall, changed their URL's or simply the

Funny, I was just thinking this morning that Google searches are absolutely horrible these days. It's like it has amnesia, a lot of recent history seems to be just gone. Especially on non US specific sites too.

Isn't that pretty misleading? About the production that can be cranked up / lowered as per needs, so the US likely remains the biggest oil power.

Yeah, good question! We can do a lot of the creative process on paper, with his styrofoam models, and audio effects etc without even being near the computer. Then when I need to go ahead and write code, it's not going to be that intere

A boat game for 5+ age group! I was never much of a game developer, but recently my 5 year old son wanted to play a game so we decided to build one together. It's a boat game, you basically steer a boat in an isometric 2d world, transp

I actually did build a game (with my 5 year old boy) recently. https://apps.apple.com/no/app/b%C3%A5tspillet/id6791630382 We had a lot of fun building it and I used Lua and LÖVE2D to basically build a game en

Games is one of those industries that I can't fathom how to do profitably, and that's why I'm not a game designer. There's just so much competition and I don't really understand the market either.

Completely trusting it to the AI is negligent, I don't think any serious projects do it this way. A lot of AI usage yes, but reviews and tweaks still require someone reading and understanding code, structures and design patterns.
