I think California has done a good thing in wooing Tesla to build the model S here. If nothing else, it should serve as a beacon to engineers interested in designing clean-tech - working on anything else will seem boring and old hat for mos

Yeah, dealing with money is a tricky business, and I could understand them being very harsh about terminating accounts. But there must be some contact and process of winding things down (getting the money owed from google, etc.). Just lik

Regardless of whether or not this is true, it's a very damaging piece for google not to respond to. After reading it, I'm very hesitant to use their checkout service - it simply isn't worth the risk. Hopefully google can step away from thei

One thought I had as mainly a non-gamer is on the costs. Since this is being done in the cloud, it'll cost a bit of money to keep a game running - a company can't simply sell you the game, it now has to pay a bit for each hour you play. As

Smaller, unique pc forms like this open up very interesting possibilities to build platforms around. As the physical volume decrease and relative performance/watt increases, we should see novel applications. Airlines could easily include pc

First off, best to indicate that this is for India. The UI is not bad, but I would make the font bigger in most cases, particularly the link targets. For example, why not make the entire cell clickable for each entry here http://govcheck.n

I think a lot of the points are good, but the wording is dangerously wrong on some: "Wrong: Find people to work for your for free and let them do as they please | Right: Selectively recruit people to work on your team for free and tell them

I agree, but monetization's always difficult. The trick is finding a niche that you're interested in, can serve well with the site's format, and has money . If you find that niche and you approach it in a novel way, then you can (likely) s

I voted you up, but I disagree to some extent. I expect that if you're creative, dedicated, and put in the time to tackle the "long, hard slog" you'll have something of considerable value by the end of it. In fact, if you can get the moment
