My mind is spinning with these carbon credit things right now. You can trade them! Like a stock market! If /wallstreetbets started buying all these up (not sure of the supply right now), they could fleece dirty industries.

For anyone else who'd never heard of carbon credits: https://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkobayashisolomon/2020/03/13... So, if these carbon credits exist, is it possible to coinify them and boost their

I wonder if a carbon tax which subsidizes low emission alternatives could get across this way?

I remember seeing somewhere that witnessing the cosmic radiation of the big bang is something we have a fairly lucky time-slot to be able to do. If that's the case, and we're early to the universe, it seems like the kind of data

Amazing stuff. Don't exhibit the behavior you're opposed to. Pre-emptively stop bad behavior by telling stories that something bad will happen. I do wonder if this approach has social-size limits? Kind of like Santa Clause, wher

As nice as this looks, I've been working on something similar and immediately see tons of limitations. Things like: - batch editing: what if you don't want your edits to save immediately, but instead as a group? - item creation a

I loathe jsx. Having two separate coding languages in a single file that switch back and forth is such a ridiculous idea to me. And on top of that, I don't think jsx is any more readable than nested functions.

Very few code bases that old are easily maintained. It's not really much of an insult to say so. And given how long it takes to roll out basic features and improvements to long standing issues, my hope is that the code is a nightmare.

If you've got a tool you're used to, it's probably best to stick to it. That being said, Bitwig does support Jack, so routing should be pretty open ended. And there's this linux project ( https://pipewire.org&#
