Remarkable’s support is god awful. I decided to return mine and the entire process took nearly 2 months. If you buy one, assume you will never get it repaired or return it and that you’ll either keep it forever or buy a new one even if you’

Geez... How do you like running it on a NAS? I'm considering a Synology in the future to run mine off of. Right now it's all just an external drive on my Mac mini. It works okay but the Mac is now 8 years old so it's uh... sh

Weird. I'm on a Mac, so this might be different for whatever platform you're running it on. But I click the Plex server icon in the menu bar, "Open Plex" which just takes you to the admin screen. It was "configured&

When you sign out connected devices it disconnects everything, including your server. You will need to sign your server back in.

Yea, it's pretty bad. My vaults aren't even 3mb, so it's really expensive, regardless. I just don't understand at all how they came up with the pricing. If they need to make money, make the app a paid product for like $1

I use the CODE and PARA methods from Tiago Forte. Much of what I'm taking notes on are things I am learning for my job and self improvement. How I use that knowledge, how they might relate to a project I am working on, how they relate

The apps themselves HELP. But you need a system. Something like Building a Second Brain (with CODE and PARA) or Linking Your Thinking. The system helps, but the app enables the system.

Obsidian's price is pretty nutty as well. I got lucky and snagged the sync product before they doubled the price, so I'm grandfathered into that. But even $50/yr is a fair bit given it's really just a storage mechanism.

I like Obsidian, but yea, there are some fundamental weirdnesses as a result of it basically being a web app. It'll never feel all that native. For me though, much of the real issue is the iOS app. I feel like it needs some big modific

The app could be used for that. It does work in the opposite, the lack of talking is shown in the chart as well. Not to say you need to arbitrarily start talking but, if this is something people ask you to do more and you're generally

If you're asking an expert in the area of what the topic is about, or stakeholders, or those that maybe have that topic in their circle of competence, then why would it be considered bullying? You'd expect them to have an opinion

You can fix that without going to activity. I hate it, but... goto the chat channel and click in it. I had someone on the team here send one, I was already in the chat and it still showed up in Activity. I just click in the message area and

This is sort of the opposite, maybe... of better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Better to donate money silently, than to open one's mouth and show how poorly you spend your money. Or something

Judge much? I’m not a maintainer but adjacent to the tech industry (Ed tech) and am hurting for money due to inflation, and I live in a low cost of living area. You don’t know everyone’s situation. Stop judging them.

My library has a subscription to consumer reports, don't have to pay for it. I only bring this up because you said you paid for it. Worth checking if you have some local resource that has a subscription already.

OP, and therefore myself, were talking about the weight of the vehicle, not the payload capacity. The F-150 Lightning weighs just over 4 tons. Also, you got it wrong. F-150 is a half ton, correct. The F-250 (and 2500 from RAM/GM) are 3

Perhaps I wasn't clear. The alternative then is to build the same truck, but keep it as a combustion engine. You're not going to stop people from buying a truck. Which truck do you want them to buy? Which is worse?

Trucks are popular in the US. Not sure where you're from but the F-150 is the most popular truck in the US. Therefore, making it available in an electric model makes a lot of sense. Most people don't need an F-150 with a combustio
