"Why aren't the best candidates filtered from the job application pipeline like it happens at all of the big tech companies?" I am sorry but this simply not true. Referrals based hiring is the norm in SV tech companies and I

This is a big topic with plenty to be said but to synthesize some concrete ways YC can eliminate the cons: - Raise equity ownership if possible. - Raise the 90 day option exercise period. - Be pro-actively transparent about the financial ma

I am so glad to see this. However, I feel often the problem is on the interviewer end as its very common to shoot algorithmic problems at FE engineers. I wrote down some of my ideas for hiring questions here: https://medium.com&#

Have you tried your local city's craigslist? I think you might be able to find employers there that are accommodating on schedule/time.

This is a great idea. I definitely think you can find an audience for it. You might have to play with pricing a little bite but the core idea def. holds value. Good luck!

Building businesses is hard and emotionally draining. There is always a person to do a job. It's just the matter of what you are willing to give up for your own peace of mind.

I am thinking of taking one too. Not too sure on what to do with the time though. I wanna do something focused for that time than a bunch of random small things. Do you have any recommendations? A nice 4month program would be super nice.
