Uber has made some tremendous progress towards offering self-driving cars, which completely changes the economics of ride sharing. Lyft might be quietly making moves in this direction too, but I'd worry about their ability to stay comp

Sounds like the issue isn't difficulty, but lack of inspiration. imho op should find a job they're more passionate about.

Right on, seems like consumers underestimate how powerful their spending choices are. Would love to see more of this mentality when people decide which companies to support when buying gas, food, medicine, telecom, etc.

It's the millennial user base that none of the older brokerages have been able to capture. If Robinhood holds most brokerage accounts of people born after 1980, CS will pay billions to acquire these accounts. While these accounts are s

Totally - I think we all stand on the shoulders of giants, easy to take for granted all the hard work put into OSS. I love the conscious effort to give back!

Ha, the flip phones are key. They must have algorithmically calculated that the 90s were the optimum time to live a false life. I wonder why the machines made people live boring lives - seems like a great way to get them to wonder "is

Right - identifying AR as a hot area is easy, but formulating what that looks like requires vision. Money and talent will deliver the Palm Pilot (1997), vision will deliver an iPhone (2007). My take on UX frontiers: #1 text console #2 mouse

That's a noble decision! Call me a cynic, but I think you're in the minority, I doubt most people have the moral fortitude to forego $200 in free Uber credits...

I disagree - I've had Uber and Lyft for years, and I check both to compare prices and ETA. For the past 6 months, I've noticed that Uber can be 40-60% cheaper than Lyft. I doubt former Uber users will forget what prices are like.
